#Deleted HA companion from my watch, how do I restore it?

I'm trying to get my galaxy watch4 to work with HA, it used to, but stopped, so I tried deleting the HA app from my watch, and now I can't get it back.

You install it again from the play store

That installs the android app, but not the watch app

if you do it on your phone yes, but you open the play store on the watch and installs the watch app 😉

you can also try to open the HA app on your phone, go to Settings > Companion app > Wear OS and see if it asks you to install the app

yeah, I ended up just removing and resinstalling the whole HA app

and I had to reset my watch

once i restored it from a backup HA prompted me to install the app on the watch

now i'm dealing with a split DNS problem where the companion app can't reach HA when connected via bluetooth
