My main issue is that the system doesn't always respond quickly or even at all. It will be stable for a while and then just out of nowhere I'll have a set of lights that don't respond to z-wave control. They always work with manual control.
I have a system with all Zooz hardware with a ZST39 controller on 1.20 firmware. The controller is on outdated firmware according to HA, but when going to the zooz firmware site they almost scare you into not updating. Their tech support even said to ignore the HA warning message. I tend to think if that message is there some devs have determined that the FW is not stable. So that is one issue.
I'm am also getting this error message sometimes when the delay occurs: "homeassistant.exceptions.HomeAssistantError: Unable to set value 22-37-0-targetValue: zwave_error: Z-Wave error 1405 - The node failed to decode the message. (ZW1405)"
I have at least 10 dimmers in a metal electrical panel but they are less than 10 ft away from the ZST39 and it seems like the communications are good.
Things I have tried: - a network route rebuild, upgrading from the earlier 700 series stick to the ZST39 - this helped and it's gotten better but it is still happening. I've completely removed (through exclusion) all the devices and re-added them. Two dimmers failed to ask for PINS and went direct to insecure pairing. All other dimmers asked for pins and fairly quickly responded when pin was entered.
It seems like if the system isn't used for a while it works fairly well next time it's used for a while and then starts acting up.
I have attached the logs in this message.
Any help is MUCH appreciated!
Thank You.
