Is it possible to brick a HA Green by attaching a wrong power source to it?
While reconnecting my devises I connented the power cable for the Omada switch to my HA box.
Now it won't start up properly;
When I connect the power, the white light is turned on for 20 secs when blinking rapidly.
Then all lights are out. The reset button does nothing.

How do I proceed?

Connect a monitor and see what it displays. What specs did the omada plug have?

1.3A at 70w. It could power a switch with 4 PoE outputs. I'm getting nothong from the HDMI

What voltage? Don't make me do math 😓

53 volts. Could that be the issue? It had the same physical features, so it fit 100%

Oh yeah. It wants 12v. Maybe something burned out.

I'd check via monitor for signs of life.

Yeah the monitor doesn't have any signal. Did I just make a 100 euro mistake by connecting the wrong but similarly looking power cable 😦

I'm afraid so.

I couldn't find a PCB layout. Might just be a single component that died but replacing it requires a specific skillset and specific tools.

Thank you for being so responsive

Ended my HA career just now. ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

I'd recommend you contact support at green@home-assistant.io. They might be generous.

Maybe there's a fuse. Or possibly a regulator...

It's surprisingly hard to find high quality pictures of the PCB.

If you can find the fcc number, that is the best place to look.
