#Cannot log into Cloud from my HA instance

I'm running a home assistant green (see versions below) and decided to try Cloud for a bit to see if it was useful for my household.

I created an account and signed up for the trial, and I can log on to the website just fine. However, when I try to log in to Cloud from my HA instance, I am getting an "Authentication failed" message. I tried changing passwords but same thing - I can log into Nabu Kasa's site and see the instructions on adding it to my local HA instance, but the same credentials do not allow me to connect my HA instance to Cloud.

Operating System 13.2

I don't see anything in the setup or troubleshooting guides. I am not seeing anything in the logs with more detailed information on what is going on.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Filed a ticket and this has been fixed, but figured I would post the solution in case anyone else ran into the same issue.

Bitwarden was autofilling the password for me, and something between the Home Assistant UI and BitWarden is a bit weird. I could click on "view password" in the input field and it looked fine, but I had to copy and paste the password from the field (not copy from BitWarden and paste into the password field) and it worked perfectly.

Oh I saw this ticket and asked about bitwarden I believe. Or it was someone else with the exact same issue 😅

Just came here looking for a solution to this problem. I use 1Password instead of BitWarden, but the problem and workaround were the same.

It's odd that Home Assistant has no problems with password managers on every other part of the UI. The app, logging in to the web UI, etc, all fine. It's just that one field where you enter your Nabu Casa credentials that isn't happy.

Having said that, most users will do that basically once so the workaround is not too bad.
