#Using script: How to pass the variable to the sequence?

Hi all,

At first, please accept my apologies since i dont know which channel to post this.

Since ive got more time now, im going to start on scripting within HA.
I have the following script, and would love to know how to pass the outcome of a boolean variable to the sequence (see picture).

ive tried it with and without dots, with and without brackets but it does not seem to work.

Any advice at this would be highly appreciated, especially because i want to continue to script this way with more things in HA 🙂

you need quotes around the template, just like for the first 2 templates you used
