Hey All,
I am pretty new to HA and I'm trying to setup a USB Microphone to my HAOS which is running on a virtual machine on my Synology NAS.
I have installed Whisper, Piper and OpenWakeWord and have configuered them and tested that they are working via the Home Companion App.
My next step was installing Assist Microphone so that I could use a USB Microphone connected to the Synology NAS.
The install succeeded. I went into the "Configuration" tab, then under "Audio" to choose the USB Microphone but unfortunately the only option listed is "Default"
I am not sure if the device is being passed through from the host "Synology NAS" to the virtual machine "HAOS" or if the USB Microphone I'm using is even capable of working.
Any help would be apricated my fellow Home Assistant Companions 😄
