I would like to send a notification when a repair is found by HomeAssistant. The Repair docs (https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/repairs/) and google could not help me out on the topic.
Is there any event fired when a new "to be repaired" item is noted by HomeAssistant that I could listen to to build an automation around it?

There appears to be an event but it doesn’t have much useful info in it. It has an issue_id but there isn’t a function available in templates to look that up and get more info.

You might also look at the spook integration, it has a few additional features related to repairs
