I saw some pages on what good human presence detections are out there
I am new in home automation but I am an ex programmer so difficulty in installation isn't an issue
I'd like to avoid buying a zigbee dongle unless I absolutely have to (tight budget)
I need to know the best one in budget but also an absolute best one in case I go all out 😉

do you know any uses to CO2 sensor? and I assume it doesn't have multiple person detection, not that i need it rn anyway

It’s single person detection and yes it’s fast.
If you need multi person detection and zone detection look at their mtr-1, or the Aqara fp2.
