I'm trying to make a custom pcb using kicad which will control the connected noctula fans based on temperature. It will be intergrated into HA so that I can remotely turn the fans on/off and so it can give me a notification when the temperate in the closet (which will be where the fans are installed) get to an abnormally high temperature. I have chosen the ESP32-C3-Supermini due to its versitality and low power consumption.

I need help finding a dev board with a kicad pinout and recommendations for what chips I should use

You should ask this in the ESPHome discord. We don’t do very much with custom PCBs here.
