I have a hard time finding a wakeup word for my living room assistant. Ok nabu is taken. and the mic is close to the speakers that play music.

It triggers on words that are surely not the wakeword.
someone got an idea?

IDK about Openwakeword. For Microwakeword Ok Nabu is the best model so far. You can play with probability cut-off to reduce false-positives, but it might effect on higher false-negatives too.
The first thing to do is take some good mic array. Since I'm working with Respeaker Lite, that has XMOS, I have almost flawless experience. Also helps actually placing satellite further from speakers (it will greatly improve voice to noise ratio).

Ok nabu is taken by other rooms.

why do you need one wake word per room?

My family would kill me, if they had to use different wake words in different rooms.

that's a weird workaround, but whatever works, i guess
