I have set up esp32's with bluetooth proxy in my home and it works fairly well, the only caveat is i use an iphone and an apple watch, and these only seem to give out a signal if you are currently using the device, i was hoping there is a way to make the apple watch periodically give out signals overwise the bluetooth detection is not going to work well for me as it would require me to enter a room and start tapping on my watch, which i could just have a shortcut for and remove all the esp32s, does anyone have any advice / any setups using apple devices and bluetooth tracking? thank you
