Default dashboard on iOS companion app keeps reverting to "Overview"

I've set up a mobile view dashboard for my wife's and my phones. I keep setting that dashboard as the default dashboard in the companion app; it works for an unspecific amount of time, then reverts back to the default Overview dashboard. This is very problematic as my Overview dash has gotten so full of devices it will not completely load on the companion app and grinds the entire app to a halt. I have to get lucky to even be able to change to a different dashboard once that happens. Of course that also kills the WAF.

How can I set the default dashboard in the Companion app once and for all???

Have you considered editing your default dashboard to just have the things you want on it?

I know that's not solving the problem of the app forgetting the selected dashboard, but it seems like you're running into that problem because of an issue you can solve another way.

Speaking of solving things another way, you can also use Shortcuts on iOS and macOS to open a specific page directly. If you add the shortcut to your Home Screen instead of the HA app that may also help.
