I recently installed adaptive lighting and I think I have it configured correctly. However I want to turn off adaptive lighting (including the lights if they are on) when I press my vacation mode button, and then revert back to being controlled (and turned back on) when I disable Vacation mode. Is this possible?

The custom integration comes from a GitHub repository created and maintained by someone else. If you have a problem with a specific custom integration, your first step should be to check the original GitHub post where you found it. The people there know the product and use the software, so they can give you better help with your issue. You might find someone here who can help, but it's not guaranteed.

I assume this is a thing you found using HACS or GitHub directly. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Then I would ask there or look if there is a dedicated forum post already. Some of the software authors do that. If you still don't find any help, this fits better in https://discord.com/channels/330944238910963714/1284966582375813201 so try a post there.
