Has anybody else run into issues with ipv6 being actively blocked for services running on a QNAP NAS? Let me explain the context and rationale for the question.

I migrated to a QNAP TS-673A earlier this year, recently updated to the latest firmware QuTS hero h5.2.0.2860. I had not patched the QNAP for probably 3-4 months prior.... I had gotten a little behind on it. Finally updated the firmware this past weekend, and the update itself seems fine... but I've noticed some unexpected side effects.

I run a VM with HAOS (Home Assistant) on the QNAP's Virtualization Station. The QNAP and all of the VM's and related IOT devices are on the same VLAN, and normally can all communicate unrestricted with each other.

It may be a coincidence, but since I updated the QNAP firmware this weekend, HA can no longer communicate with any of my Thread+Matter devices. However, my Apple Home (Apple TV) can communicate with the same devices just fine.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot/fix this? Am I barking up the wrong tree entirely?
