i have a question for all i have a few ubiquiti cameras i want to intergrate into frigate so i have instant access to them in home assistant but i am not sure if i need both a unifi protect nvr and a frigate nvr

Pretty sure you just need to enable the RTSP stream in the cameras themselves and use that in your Frigate config. But, IIRC, you do need Protect to access the cameras.
