I’m building a new home (approximately 7,000 square feet) and anticipate having approximately 100 light switches and I want every one of them to be automate-able/controllable via Home
Assistant.

Those of you who have standardized all your light switches, what are you using and would you use the same product or do something different?

Inovelli zwave and zooz zwave have been great for me. I’ve also had great luck with ge zwave switches but I wouldn’t recommend them generally.

Lutron and Inovelli Zigbee (Blue) and have both worked well for me. Inovelli has a lot of neat features: controllable LED bar, virtual three-way switch over Zigbee, direct control of other zigbee devices, etc. It also doesn't require an extra hub, which is nice.

But I honestly would go with Lutron if I were to do it again. It "just works."

# modern bison Which Lutron are you referring too? Caseta? RA 2/3? Other?

I'm using RA2 Select. I chose it at the time because of the higher device limit and the Maestro switches, which I liked better than the (IMO) strange Caseta switches. But, if I were to do it again today, I'd go with Caseta now. The new Diva switch looks pretty similar to the Maestro. And it is much easier to buy the components.
