I have been trying to get everything in my rented apartment in Austria connected to HA and this is one of the last two circuits I am yet to tackle (my landlord is okay with it as long as I revert all changes when I leave).
I have two switches control a pair of bulbs; when either of the switches are flipped, both bulbs go on or off together. I am currently using my Lifx Bulbs as dumb-bulbs because flipping the switch cuts power to them. I want to use Shelly's decoupled mode to keep them powered and use them as Smart Bulbs.
The main switch has a Live, and a different switch above the main switch has a Neutral which I can pull down to the Main switch for the Shelly. The Secondary Switch has neither a Live nor a Neutral. I originally intended to install a Shelly 1 behind the Main Switch like so, but eventually up with a more involved solution.
Is my final solution all right or is there a better/smarter/more efficient way to do this?
I can swap the pre-installed Busch & Jäger switches out, but I cannot pull any new wires through anywhere. The guys who laid the conduit did a phenomenally bad job and created way too many tight 90° bends - the last time a licensed electrician tried to pull a wire through, he needed a LOT of lube and strength (and yet, a 1.5m piece of conduit ended up breaking inside the wall).
