RGB WW led Strip Control

Hello girls and Guys!

I have an issue after upgrading HA (2021.x.x) to the latest version.
I have multiple RGBWW led strips scattered around, all of them are driven by the ESPHome RGBWW component. Works flawlessly so far.
However I can’t control the White CCT anymore.
HA only offers RGB and two white channels as adjustment options. No Color Temperature slider.
I can do a light.turn-on action with a color temp. This works fine. The appropriate LEDs light up as intended.
However the UI only shows two white channel sliders.
Is there a way to get the Color temp slider back?

I can get the color temp slider if I flash the ESPHome device with the Color_interlock:true setting but this obviously doesn’t let me turn the rgb and White components on at the same time.

I would really prefer a CCT and Colorwheel UI with a two sliders one for Color brightness and one for color temperature
