Is the entity group type "household" deprecated?

Sorry, I'm not sure where HA core issues should go. Feel free to move if this isn't the right place.

I'm doing some housecleaning and found in my groups.yaml the following:

household:
  name: Household
  entities:
    - person.rubin_starset
    - person.xxxxxxx

Is this still valid or can I safely comment this out and use the UI to make a generic group for the person entities and have it do the exact same thing in automations?

Actually it looks like I cannot add persons to a sensors group.

Oh I'm also being silly. household in that is defining the unique_id of household.
