Title. I am using IKEA Dirigera for most of my lights, however IKEA does not sell high-lumen bulbs. I would like to buy a Philips dimmable white 1600lm bulb but I am not keen on buying the Hue Bridge as I don't want another bridge and likely this will be the only Hue product I'll use in my setup.

My question is: Can I use the Philips Hue bulb via my Sonoff Zigbee Plus dongle? Or is the Hue Bridge absolutely mandatory to use it in my smart home? I don't care for the sync/scene etc. features the bridge provides.

I'd appreciate any help with this, thanks!

it's possible it's not updated yet

if it works in zigbee2mqtt it could surely be supported in ZHA as well

I'd be willing to be that it'll be fine

the philips bulbs are all pretty standard zigbee lights - they generally work fine in zha without needing specific support for any particular bulb.
