#Pi vs HP server?

The Beelink n100s are currently the ones most people recommend.
Thank you!
Consider virtualizing with it: #hardware-archived message
Or get a Green if you don't plan on doing significant on-device processing, it directly runs Home Assistant OS and is meant to be used as just an appliance
It has a lot of the same issues as the pi or other SBCs: #general-archived message
Whether my points are important or applicable here I cannot decide.
My green specific gripes are that the eMMC is a poor storage solution (not replaceable), at least for this kind of purpose, and it cannot be easily used for anything else but HAOS. Re-flashing it is also more painful than other options if need be.
So if I get a Beelink, the one I sent, I'm good to go, virtualize it and run HA?
Yep.
Cool, thank you.
I know I can find all the integrations available by company or whatever on the website, but is there any way to sort like, "smart power oulets", "smart lamps" kind of categories?
Not sure.
Alright, thakn you!
Go wit a mini PC with HAOS preinstalled. It is a little more pricier than a PI but it has all the features of a x86 PC but with the SW installed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJPLG65B/
Seems like a waste, the installation process is painless
Paying extra for a machine that has HA pre-installed when it's not from Nabu Casa seems suspect.
and 2 useless hdmi connections?
Are you involved in the company selling those on Amazon?
Yeah, I get it... I tried their Nabu Casa Green machine and sent it back.
-# Transparency is important.
I tried the green and gave it to my parents. It's not the right machine for me, but the cheap mini PC I picked up and installed HAOS on is perfect.
