I have bought a LG monitor controller hoping to would work on my LG TV. It doesn't work.
So I was wondering if I bought an IR blaster/ receiver, it could become the middle man and translate it.
Been looking at switchbot hub 2 because it has IR functions, but I don't know how well it works HA.
What's your recommendation? Can I achieve this using HA?

Sometimes you can find actual codes for remotes, but HA is going to need the actual codes.
Without a working remote to read actual codes from, you might have a problem.

I still have the remote for my TV.
Couldn't I just copy the signal by using remote and map it to another the other remote?
