It seems when HA trys to update my z-wave JS, it breaks things. My log is filled with the following.

2024-10-14T14:58:18.758Z CNTRLR Starting hardware watchdog...
2024-10-14T14:58:18.759Z CNTRLR Switching serial API to 16-bit node IDs...
2024-10-14T14:58:18.775Z CNTRLR Switching to 16-bit node IDs successful

Does this mean anything to anyone? I'm running a HA VM on Unraid, with a Zooz 700 USB stick.

Check the addon settings. There's a new option to disable the watchdog (assuming the update was already released)

would this cause all of my devices to not work?

It will stop the restarts.

#

Devices won't work very well if the controller keeps restarting.

I just randomly ran into this tonight as well. I'm using a UZB-7 on FW v7.17.2. I'm a bit out of the loop at this point, but I recall this being considered a stable firmware some time back. Not sure what exactly I did to get myself into the hardware watchdog loop, but even rebooting didn't seem to resolve the issue.

Turn off the watchdog

Or try upgrading firmware

Yeah, turning off watchdog did get me out of the loop, but still at a bit of a loss as to what I did to trigger the issue in the first place 😅

upgrade?
