I am trying to add both a list and separate buttons (later to be replaced with icons for Android TV, Nintendo Switch, TV) to change source on TV. TV and ha-samsungtv-smart is configured correctly and works directly on the device in HAOS. I was also hoping to have state referenced (selected or not selected)__

Here is the action I am assuming I need to get working in a card as per ha-samsungtv-smart. I am not sure how to integrate this into a card. https://github.com/ollo69/ha-samsungtv-smart?tab=readme-ov-file#send-keys

You can use a tap_action in a button (or other card) with media_player.select_source (I _think). https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/media_player/#action-media_playerselect_source

Thanks media_player.select_source worked, now to figure out how to implement it in a card

I have tried adding it to a glance card to get all of the outputs in one card can't get it to work/ . However it works on the media-player-card

Doing something similar, when I know how to work with conditions I will merge the power buttons into one power button in the remote. At the moment the remote controls Android TV excluding volume (normal TV) so a later condition could also be going conditional TV or Android TV remote edpending on HDMI input.
