Hi,
Could someone point me to the right direction how to integrate door/window opening sensors (buit into frames)? It looks like this:

Are those older reed sensors? You'll probably want to look into konnected.io to integrate those.

It is something from honeywell. I think it is this one.

I mean, I am about to get new windows/doors and i was asked if i want this. Originally i was thinking about getting some Zigbee sensors, but having it integrated within the frame would look more "clear". Running cables from window/door to my server room is not an issue...

What do you mean by "more modern"? You mean as in terms of the reed sensors? Not that I know of... built-in reed sensors like those are meant to last decades (simple and reliable mechanics).

Ok so best thing to do is go "wired" and use the konnected.io to get this into network/HA. Gotcha...

Yup. If they're already there, might as well use them. You could go Zigbee if you really want to, but wired > wireless if you already have it.

Especially the Alarm Panel Pro is on $229 US

ok, thanks, the konnected.io seems like the konnected.io is perfectly fits my needs. It is a new house, so running few extra cables is not an issue. Thanks again furt superfast response !
