i expected to see the image as i can reach it though the same address on my pc and phone when typing the address into the browser but the notification wont.
as a guide for this i used this repo and adjusted all the entities of course

What have you set the filename and the url to?

to http://myaddress:port/... the filename is variable as you can see in the repo but i have access to it in my browser
something about that filename, i just put the filename of one image there and it worked. i had it working before but i unfortunately nuked it on my phone at some point

yeah www/snapshots, only variable that i worked out just now is the filename which i swapped out through an existing image name so something is up with calling the time but not saving it with that time?
