ZHA groups - all groups share the same "area". Is it possible to use separate "area" for each group?

I have many lights and need to use zigbee groups in ZHA. Everything else is working, but I can't use HA "Area" tags normally with groups in ZHA as all ZHA groups share the same "Area". If I set "Area" for one group, all other groups get changed to the same. Is there a fix, somehow to seperate them? Looks like you can only set "Area" to the device and all groups are under that one device.

In the entity (not the device) settings… turn off use device area then pick the area you want for the entity
