So I'm looking at getting a budget weather station and definitely want something that will work locally with HA. I'm in North America, and don't really have an interest in a physical display. I'm primarily going to be looking at the weather data through HA. Any recommendations? :D

You can leave this open for a while to collect other ideas, but when you have a solution, would you be so kind as to select close from the 3 dots menu in the top and click the Resolved tag if you have not already done so?

Since they're solar powered, how well do they work during dim winter months?

Mine is both solar and battery powered (2 AA batteries). So, I'm guessing it will be fine.

I'm wisconsin, never cleaned the snow off the thing, and it's been up over a year. Solar powers it 99.9%, dark days it uses the AA. I have a pair of lithium AA's in there BC I don't want to get a ladder out, never had to.

There's a mega-capacitor that's charged by the sun and that lasts in the dark more than a day.
