Hey folks,

Long shot but wondering if anyone here could help me with solarman config issue. There's likely something small I have missed.

I have a Solis set up that appears to have 2 inverters each with a wireless dongle. The wireless dongles are the DLS-W as outlined here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wlEq7EggZo

Both are connected to my home network after following the instructions. Each is accessible from my home computer via their assigned IP and respond with the expected pages. The SolisCloud APP has the dongles or "dataloggers" as it calls them live in the app and the app is now being updated with solar information. It appears to me that they must be working if they are populating data to the app as they were not before. The app only started populating information after the Dataloggers were configured and connected to my home network.

I have successfully installed SolarMan in HomeAsisstant using the supplied documentation. I have set up the two dataloggers using the supplied documentation. The dataloggers show as devices in the Solarman Integration. I have set up the Energy page as per instructions.

Everything seems to be set up OK and I did not experience any errors during set up. The only issue is the data is not flowing through. Any ideas? I was thinking I didnt select the right .yaml file but its not clear which one associates to what I have and the documentation seems to state its not important.

Since making my original videos I've had loads of enquiries from different people asking to replicate my setup. Unfortunately not all Solis loggers were created equal, so here's a quick guide to the different loggers and how you might get them to work with Home Assistant. Take a look at Francis Boundy's excellent work here for more background re...

The Serial numbers of the DL's is 4xxxx and was listed in the documentation as "should work"

Check the version of the solarman logger. If the serial number starts with 17xxxxxxx, 21xxxxxxx or 40xxxxxxx (protocol V5), the component should work. If not, you may need to try the component for V4 of the protocol mentioned above.
