The LED strip is not individually addressable. I'd like to maintain use of the remote if possible but that's not a deal breaker. Amazon has a bunch but I don't know how to figure out HA compatibility.

You would need some sort of IR blaster for that. Something like a Broadlink should work.

If you have Zigbee, I’d use something like Gledopto instead. You just need to control the light strip, right?

Yeah. I have a Hue bridge, I think I can connect zigbee lights to that
