#My HA Green cannot see the zbt-1
15 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
/dev/ttyUSB0 is not a reliable path. It might have switched to /dev/ttyUSB1 or similar.
ok, but how do i find the correct path on a home assistant green ?
it shows in the hardware. But i try to configure it says it cannot find firmware (z2m is stopped ).
i tried the ls /dev/serial/by-id but looks like it does not exist on HA green ?
( i have nothing on /dev/serial )
Is ZHA using the ZBT-1 at moment? Look at the integrations page.
You might have to remove it and later ignore the auto-discovery.
i removed it many days before, i cannot find something using the ZBT-1 . I have no clue ATM and cannot find info in logs 😦
Any other add-ons like OpenThread Border Router or SiliconLabs Multiprotocol?
i had a thread configured with and apple tv - removed it and i'm rebooting.
If you used the OpenThread Border Router add-on, the stick has the Thread firmware now.
I don't use the openthread border, i just have configured Thread with an apple tv as Border router. I can't figure why it was working since many days and sudenly stopped . I dont know where to look
Have you tried to shut the Green down (not rebooting), pull the power for a few seconds and turn it back on?
i'll try again. may be not waiting long enough... Thx for the help .
This is really weird . I try to connect the zbt-1 on a mac or windows but no device pops up ...
In that case contact the support at hello@home-assistant.io . Tell them the problem and give them a link to this Discord post. Or contact your seller's support for an RMA.
I unplugged everything, restarted the green box ( power off / on ) and i'm surprised to see the zbt-1 in hardware ? How can i "remove it" ? [ this makes me think there might be some config somewhere interfering ]
i just plugged an old Digi Xbee device i had configured as a coordinator with XCTU and it poped right away
