#Alternative to the DECT 302

Are there thermostats that run via Zigbee and are not so sluggish? I have the DECT 302 and I have the feeling that they are simply too slow for what I want to achieve in terms of temperature.
What do you recommend?

The only reason they update slowly is because they are battery powered and you don't like to change them every couple days

Other battery powered sensors likely wont give you any other experience.
