Hello everyone,
i'm using my HA Yellow with Zigbee(internal Radio) for almost a year now. since i dont want to use the Multi-protocol Firmware i have a simple Question.
Is it possible to use the ZBT-1 (aka Sky Connect) Dongle for Matter/thread besides the internal Radio which is used for Zigbee?
My Hope is that with two Radios: The internal Radio for Zigbee and The ZBT-1 for Matter i would be set for everything thats comes along in the next years.

Yes, that is possible. The OpenThread Border Router add-on has to be set to use the ZBT-1 (it flashes the required firmware automatically).
The Yellow's internal radio would remain functional via ZHA.

You can also enable it by going to the Hardware menu, finding the ZBT-1, clicking Configure, and then selecting the firmware you want to run. It'll set up the rest.
