If you use the Discord search function and type in Bacnet, you'll find a variety of references to it.
I didn't peruse them all, but it looks like there are a variety of other folks who are trying to make it work in some way or other. I'd suggest you look through those (didn't look at the ages of the posts, so I'm not sure how recent efforts are), to see if others have it working.
