I followed the Getting-Started manual.
-Create image with Raspberry Pi Imager
-Powering up with a usb-drive plugged in
-Yellow LED starts blinking steadily... forever

I never get to the stage where the yellow LED is constantly on for 5 seconds.

I also followed the guide to reinstall Home Assistant OS using rpiboot by setting the Jp1 jumper and transferring a new image from the github repo, but no dice. Still stuck on yellow blink.

Any suggestions?

Make sure the Yellow has unrestricted internet connection during the install process.
Also check if the CM4 is fully seated in its sockets and if it has eMMC or a compatible NVMe is used with a CM4 Lite. If it has eMMC, try installing without NVMe installed.
You can also use the USB-C serial console to look for errors during the boot and installation process.

Well look at that!
Seems the internet connection might be the issue

Strange though. Should have unrestricted access. I'll look into it

Not sure if it was my router or the HA unit, but the solution was to assign a static ip for the unit.

Anyways, thank you so much Jorg! You saved the day 🙂
