Hi all,
I have recently bought a TP-Link Tapo Smart Button, and I read after ordering that it needs a hub, is there way that i can use it with HA without buying a hub? (like a usb dongle or something?) Thanks.

that's using some proprietary radio protocol on 922mhz; no easy way to directly connect it to home assistant. I know some folks have used software-defined-radio dongles for other 900mhz devices, but I have no idea if anyone has reverse-engineered the protocol this uses.
