I want to have all the different statistics split into different windows such as: POWER, LIGHT and similair. Do I do that through Areas? (probably not because I figured thats for physical places)

No, you’d want to use the Entity card. Not Entities.

How do I put that into a dashboard?

Click the pencil icon in the top right of the screen and then click on “Add card” (or, if you are using the new Sections view, click on the “+” in a section). Then search for “Entity” and select the entity you want to display.

I dont see it

I also have setup the statistics like an area... is that bad?

Ah, are you using the default dashboard? You need to take control of it.

The default is overview isn't it

opal plinth
#

Yes. You’ll need to take control of that (or create a new dashboard).

fair tiger

What do you mean by take control of that

opal plinth

There’s instructions for both creating a new dashboard (which you’ll want to do) and how to take control of it.

Oh… lol I didn’t mean it like that. I’m mobile ATM, so it was faster to post that then try to explain the steps. 🙂

No I'm serious

#

I think I will learn alot there, actually best way than trying to tinker and do everything messy/wrong

I mean, yeah, you should read the docs, but just making sure I didn’t offend at all.

#

I tend to be terse when I’m typing on mobile. lol

fair tiger

Not in any way, I just didn't know that the documentation has so much info

#

Probably should've anticipated that

#

lol

Sometimes too much info 😉
