I'm just dipping my toe into the OpenAI conversation agent and set out to create a fairly straightforward morning announcement for the house with weather, calendar events, and other daily routine stuff. The thing that has me stumped at the moment is how to announce whether the Dodgers won or lost the previous evening's game (if there was one). The wife and I are big Dodger fans but living on the east coast we're generally asleep before the games end. My understanding is that the ChatGPT models (I'm using 4o) can't just go out to the internet to look it up. So would I have to bring a sensor into HA somehow that would state whether they won or lost and then include that in the prompt? Am I missing something obvious?
