I updated a couple of my Smart switches from FW 1.2 to 1.3 from the Home Assistant settings page, and now i am unable to use them, they are only showing up as Node X and unknown devices and re-interviewing does not help, anyone have any experience with this and know how to fix it ?

Remove and reset the plug. Re-pair it afterwards and it will work again.

i have kind of tried that, i removed them from home assistant, unplugged them, then tried to re add them by scanning the code in HA and holding down the button and it blinked blue and then switched to green, and i belive thats how i paired them last time but i guess i should check the manual once more to be sure
i see theres a factory reset,maybe i should try that ?

When scanning the QR code, don't push buttons to set your device into inclusion mode.
Just power on, or possibly factory reset if needed.
Otherwise you have Z-Wave JS and the device both waiting for each other's inclusion commands, but none sends anything.
