Hey all - need a little direction here.
Are Caseta Lutron Lights better with the lutron Hub than say like zwave lights or Thread? I have read in a few forums that Caseta is like the best you can buy. I am moving into a new house and wanted to go all out with my lights. My last ones were Meross (and i used the Meross LAN HACS integration) but i am trying to avoid cluttering my wifi with the switches.

I noticed that the Caseta lights use the Lutron hub and they support IOT Local Push. But i worry about the connection. I am moving into a 4 story town home and i wonder if they will act as a mesh, or if they will need a repeater on every floor to communicate with the hub

This probably isn't very helpful, but I have the caseta switches and hub and I think they work great. However they're all on the same floor pretty close together, and I've never used anything else. The pico switches are nice because you can program them to control other smart bulbs instead of just other lutron switches.

Question. Coming back to this because i am getting close to moving into my new place and wanted to make a decision on this. How many of these Lutron light switches do you have now in your home? I have 75 switches in my new house. It's a 4 story town home so i know i will probably need to install a range extender and that will take one of those device limits. I am wondering what happens if the lutron network gets congested with that many devices, if it will have any kind of degradation. Thoughts?
