Hey all, I've tested quite a few thermostat heads in the last few days, and I must say I'm not impressed. Most barely have the minimum functionality to do the business. So I thought I'd engage the swarm intelligence and ask what everybody else is using.
So far I've tested:
- Danfoss: Total no-show
- Moer: basic functionality, programmable at the device, but very wonky control entities that are all just named "Switch" in HA
- Sonoff: basic functionality, but very limited feature set without dedicated hub
- Equiva Bluetooth: BLE, gets discovered but just disconnects and never shows back up
- AVM: Lots of features, but dependent on the AVM ecosystem (which I happen to have), very slow reaction
- Aqara: basic functionality available, but badly documented and behaves strangely.
If anyone has any that I haven't listed here, I'd be grateful if you could share your experiences.
