I love the ability to now toggle lights in command center in iOS 18 however I’m having a few issues. One is that it often doesn’t work when I try to choose an icon. I’ve included a screen recording of this behavior. Second, about half the time when I click the button, it doesn’t really know what state the light is in and sometimes it does nothing and sometimes it looks like I clicked it twice. In the second screen recording it had the state wrong to begin with (it was on when it said it was off). I clicked it one more time and then it seemed to double click. It’s a bit harder to demonstrate this one in a screen recording since you can’t tell when I press the button. I am on both the latest version of iOS and the HA app

Thanks for reporting. I’ll look into it
Hey @glacial cloud curious if you had any luck with this one?
No updates to share at the moment
I have added more opportunities for the control to reload it's state (coming in 2024.9.2) but for now real-time states won't be possible, they would need to be updated via push notifications (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/widgetkit/updating-controls-locally-and-remotely) and we currently have a 500 notifications limit per user (https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/notifications/notification-details) which makes it inviable at the moment.
Ah I see, thanks for the update
@glacial cloud any updates with the bug I mentioned above? I just checked again and I’m still not able to add icons
Are you on latest beta?
Nope I’m not on the beta at the moment but I’ll try it out and report back
