Today I noticed that I am not getting notifications even after I attempt to repair errors regarding notifications. No matter what I do I have been unable to get notifications to work. I updated the recommend automation. Then click on submit to say it was repaired. Yet I am still not getting notifications.

I have went through removed the app and installed it again. Cleared all data regarding it. Yet it keep giving me the same error.

It was working prior to today.

Included is an image of what I get when I try to force the automation to send a notification.

can you share teh automation configuration please? and also what the actual error in the HA core logs are

the format looks strange, and the error suggests its not formatted properly. Try rebuilding teh action using the UI

I did set it up in the UI

instead of a device action try selecting the actual notify service call

what version of HA core are you running? the YAML actually looks correct

The version of HA Core is 2024.9.1

ok maybe something got corrupted that we are not seeing, try the start fresh steps and see if that fixes the issue, you may need to update the automation if the device ID changes https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/troubleshooting/faqs/#starting-fresh-with-the-android-app follow these in order so everything gets cleared properly
