The MQTT Media Player is not required because it already exposes the controls as hidden entities, but it is very useful if you want to create a media_player entity that combines all of them into one.

Would be great if this could use the mobile_app integration instead of mqtt?
I dont use mqtt personally but I do use Linux 🙂
