Hi.

I wonder the best way to reference your phone so when I change out the device, I dont have to redo all my different automations.

Examples: (Both Node-Red and Home assistant example)

Make sure that when you swap devices, you name it exactly the same as the previous device and things should work normally.

well you also do need to remove the old device or the entities may not be named properly if they were already registered to anotehr device

but ideally yes, replacing the device with same name will ensure it all remains the same. most users when they switch phones keep the app installed and dont factory reset and remove things which is where things get mixed up from what I have seen
