I'm using the ES32-Box3-S3 with HomeAssistant. It works quite well so far, but the voice response seems to be playing at 200% speed, resulting in a high-pitched response that's barely understandable.
Running the same command on the mobile results in a correct response.
Using piper addon with de_DE-thorsten-low model.

Hi , in the media_player config in the device yaml you need to set the sample rate to 16000

Thanks, do I need to re-build the firmware for that?

eh, seems I do. Pressing install starts the build process
