I am in the middle of slowly learning frigate. Are two camera feeds necessary, low res and high res? I guess I understand the concept behind this, but I'm not really sure. The idea of being you have a lower resolution image just for detection only and then if you detect something it records that using high res. Did I get that right? It seems weird to even think about recording the low res because it's a miserably horrible picture quite honestly. But if I want to continual recording like all day regardless of the events, then I would not want a low res feed at all. What are your thoughts?

you are mixing up things that are not related to each other

#

the low res is only used for detection, it has nothing to do with recordings

the lower res stream is recommended for detection because it requires fewer resources and detection does not benefit from being run on high resolution
