i've moved from a dedicated broker machine to the mosquitto addon inside HA OS, now i can't set persistence easy without doing a full configuration file + users

It should default to persistence.

#

You can also add drop in configs via customize.

That is not related.

#

The graphs don't get their data from the broker's persistence database.

that is a sensor that sends data every 10 min, the gap is where the old broker went down

#

so it must be a broker setting 😦
