Aqara are solid, particularly if you buy the new E1/T1/P1 stuff. The OG stuff is fine, but needs a little more care (see the pinned message on Aqara/Xiaomi)

Hue are the gold standard though, but you pay for that

Either way, you can use both as long as you use ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT and not any manufacturer's hub
