You flashed the image to the boot drive?

#

Did you try port 4357 instead of 8123?

I have pressed some key on the pc and got a “GNU GRUB” menu

#

I’ll try that port

#

I have restarted the pc, got a “ no bootable devices” message, but HAOS appears in the boot priority menu in bios.

#

I ran the command in the bootable Linux environment, the one in the instructions

#

Can I you pics of what I see?

#

Or a video

Please use imgur or other image sharing web sites, and share the link here.

Image posting is blocked in most channels to discourage people from sharing text as images. Sharing text as images assumes that everybody sees the world as you do, which isn't the case. Some people are colour blind, or have visual impairment that means they can't make sense of an image of text.

I5 2400

#

4gb ram

#

Will upgrade if this works

#

I can’t take the pc somewhere else, as it doesn’t boot straight into haos. Need to use f12

#

Should I just reinstall it?

hot stratus
#

Could be a BIOS setting problem, or a very wonky flash

#

Maybe try an older HAOS version?

fleet narwhal
#

Ight

#

Trying 12.2

#

After booting it, and pressing enter, then pressing c, typing in “list_env” I get and error”failure reading sector 0x800 from “hd0”.”
